Looking for an English-Speaking Therapist in Berlin?
Moving to a new city is hard enough. Trying to explain what's going on inside you in a language that isn't your first, while also navigating German bureaucracy, a new culture, and maybe a new sense of who you are here, that's a lot to carry alone. If you've been searching for someone you can actually talk to, in English, without translating your feelings in your head first, you're in the right place.
Therapy that actually feels like a conversation
I'm Ulla Siobhán, a psychotherapist (Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie) based in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin, and I work with both individuals and couples in English and German. My approach is integrative: a mix of depth-oriented, trauma-informed, and systemic work, adapted to what you actually need, not a one-size-fits-all script.
Whatever brought you here, a relationship that feels stuck, anxiety that won't let up, the quiet weight of something from your past that keeps resurfacing, or simply the sense that life in Berlin hasn't felt like "your life" yet, we can take a look at it together.
What working with me looks like
Sessions happen either at my practice in Prenzlauer Berg or online, whichever fits your life better. I work on a self-pay basis, which means no waitlists, no referrals, no needing a diagnosis to be approved for a certain number of sessions. Just a space that's yours, structured around what you actually need, at a pace that makes sense for you.
I offer trauma-focused work including EMDR, individual therapy, and couples counselling, all available in English.
Let's talk before you decide anything
You don't need to have it all figured out before reaching out. A free initial phone call is the easiest way to find out whether this feels like a good fit, no pressure, no commitment, just a conversation.
You can reach me by phone at +49 174 535 86 70, through my about page, or book directly online via Doctolib.
