Pricing

All services are provided on a self-pay basis under the German Heilpraktikergesetz (HeilprG). This allows for independent, individually tailored therapeutic and counselling work, free from the requirements of statutory health insurance providers.

This applies both to psychotherapeutic treatment and to all counselling formats.

Any possible reimbursement by private health insurance or supplementary insurance must be clarified individually with the respective provider in advance.

Process & FAQs

The First Step

Every collaboration begins with an initial consultation. This first session gives us the opportunity to get to know each other, discuss your concerns, and clarify whether working together feels appropriate and meaningful to you.

During this conversation, you will already receive an initial professional assessment and space for your questions.

The Therapeutic Process

Therapy is not a fixed sequence, but an individual process that develops over time. The focus is on your concerns, your goals, and the pace that feels both supportive and realistic.

Change does not happen only during the sessions themselves. It also unfolds through what happens between appointments: through new experiences, conscious decisions, and a more mindful way of relating to yourself.

What Happens in Acute Crises?

My practice is not an emergency service and does not offer continuous availability.

In the event of an acute mental health crisis, please contact the psychiatric crisis service, the medical on-call service, or emergency services.

How Often Do Sessions Take Place?

A therapeutic process requires continuity. Therefore, sessions usually take place at least every two weeks at the beginning, allowing a stable and meaningful process to develop.

As the work progresses, the frequency can be adjusted individually. I do not offer single sessions or highly irregular appointments as an ongoing therapeutic process.

How Long is a Session/Therapy ?

Some concerns can be worked through in just a few sessions, while others require more time. We will orient the process around your individual goals.

Depending on your needs, sessions last 50 or 80 minutes. For EMDR, couples therapy, and supervision, longer sessions are generally more appropriate and are therefore offered only in this format.

What Happens Between Sessions?

Therapy does not work only during the sessions themselves. Many processes continue to unfold between appointments.

For this reason, I encourage you to note down any observations, thoughts, or questions that arise so that we can return to them in our next session.

Does Therapy Entail Personal Responsibility?

Therapy is a collaborative process.

I support you with professional experience, therapeutic methods, and a protected framework. At the same time, real change depends on your willingness to engage with the process and to integrate new experiences into everyday life.

Cancellations or Rescheduling

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Cancellations or changes can be made free of charge up to 48 hours in advance.

For later cancellations or missed appointments, the agreed fee will be charged unless the appointment can be offered to someone else.

Can I Reach Out Between Sessions?

You are welcome to contact me by email or phone for scheduling matters at any time.

Therapeutic concerns, however, are discussed exclusively within our agreed sessions. This helps keep the therapeutic framework clear and protects the quality of our work together.

What Happens If I Am Late?

Please let me know as early as possible if you are running late.

For organisational reasons, the session will still end at the agreed time. In most cases, extending the appointment is not possible.

What Should I Bring to the First Session?

Above all, openness and enough time.

If any documents may be relevant or helpful for your concern, we can clarify this in advance.

Is Confidentiality Guaranteed?

Yes.

As a licensed practitioner for psychotherapy (Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie), I am bound by legal confidentiality obligations. Everything you share within our work together is treated as strictly confidential.

Exceptions exist only in a few narrowly defined cases required by law.
